The Bredenbury Library, part of the Parkland Regional Library system, has officially closed its doors. Yuri Forbes-Petrovich, Interim Director of Parkland Regional Library and Branch Manager of Yorkton Public Library, confirmed that books and equipment from the branch have been redistributed across other libraries within the Parkland system to benefit patrons throughout the region.

Despite the closure, residents of Bredenbury can still access other nearby branches and enjoy province-wide library services. With a library card, users gain access to digital resources like eBooks and audiobooks via the Libby app, movies on Kanopy, training through LinkedIn Learning, and the ability to place holds through the Saskatchewan Integrated Library System (SILS) app.

This closure reflects efforts to maintain access to essential library services while reallocating resources efficiently across the region.
