Golfers have been making good use of the greens and fairways at Carlton Trail Golf Club, taking part in a couple of recent annual tournaments.
The Carlton Trail Golf Club’s Senior Golf Tournament was held Thursday, August 15 with 54 participants.
Novelty contest winners were Ann Kendel whose tee shot was just one-quarter of an inch from the line, while Ellis Yont’s shot was the closest among the men, finishing 2.5 inches from the line.
The longest putts were dropped in by Elaine DePape from a distance of 26’, 4” and Kevin Boucher, 46’, 1”.

The anual Carlton Trail Couples 2 Person Scramble was held on Sunday, August 19 with 46 participants.
Closest to the pin winners for the day were: ladies, Susan Bily Fransila, 45’, 9”, and men, Cory Ingjaldson, 4’, 5”.
