From the Esterhazy Lions Chase the Ace funds, $17,000 has been donated to St. Anthony’s Hospital for an Electrocardiogram (ECG) machine. ECG machines are intended to quickly detect heart problems and monitor your heart’s health.

For the St. Anthony’s Hospital in Esterhazy, people are awaiting an announcement from the government to build a new hospital and care home facility. The Esterhazy Lions will focus on projects that can be transferred to the new facility to make efficient use of their capital.

Making the presentation included Lion Dan Babyak, Lion Don Halyk, Lion Harold Esslinger, Lion Audrey Petracek, Lion Sharon Prazma and Lion Elmarie Louw. St. Anthony’s Hospital Board members included Daniela Fiske, Don Hood and Jerry Halyk.

The Esterhazy Lions also donated to palliative care from Chase the Ace funds.

For the palliative care, the group donated $4,000 for a spangle mattress, sheep skins, bed rails and back seats.

The Lions donated $1573.95 to the Warriors Football team last week from the barbecues they held at each home game.
