On November 2, 2022 at approximately 5:45 p.m., Esterhazy RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway #16 at Churchbridge, SK.
Initial investigation determined a northbound and southbound vehicle collided.
The driver and lone occupant of the northbound vehicle was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 57-year-old male from Langenburg. His family has been notified.
The driver and lone occupant of the southbound vehicle was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Highway #16 was closed during initial investigation but has since re-opened. Esterhazy RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
