Coach Kevin Kaminski and the La Ronge Ice Wolves will travel to the Parkland to face the Yorkton Terriers in their upcoming SJHL playoff series.
After Melfort beat Flin Flon in Monday night action, the SJHL playoff picture became apparent.
The series will see a rematch of the highlight game held in Churchbridge where over 600 people packed the rink for the neutral-site game between the two teams in late October.
During the neutral-site game, the arena in Churchbridge was renamed Kaminski Arena after the Ice Wolves Head Coach and GM Kevin “Killer” Kaminski, who played 139 games in the NHL and hails from the town.
The Ice Wolves will play the Terriers in Yorkton on Friday, March 6th and Saturday, March 7th before heading back to La Ronge the next week for Tuesday and Wednesday games (March 10 &11th). Games 5, 6 and 7 (if necessary) will find the teams in Yorkton the following Friday (March 13th), Sunday, March 15th would be in La Ronge and the following Tuesday, March 17 would see game 7 in Yorkton.
