Last fall Sobeys/Family Foods held a promotional campaign in their flyer to enter a draw online for community cash.
Shelly Lamontagne entered the draw online and indicated the Esterhazy Family Foods grocery store on her application. She won $5000 which was to be donated to a local food bank; Shelly also won $500 for herself.
Lamontagne wished to donate locally, and permission was granted to give it to the Esterhazy & Area Christmas Hamper Fund.
6 people were drawn for the campaign in three zones in Canada (west, east & Ontario).
