Those travelling through Langenburg will notice Remus Ag LTD., a new business on the highway located at 233 Kaiser William Avenue East.
Remus Ag LTD is operated by Curtis and Bethany Remus along with their two young boys.
The company offers trailer sales, loader/skid steer attachments and a small line of imported equipment.
Owner Curtis Remus said, “We operate on an appointment style business. We can be contacted 7 days a week though either text, call or email”.
Remus explained his experience in the industry and what led up to the business’s beginning. “We started selling mini excavators for Bearco Machines in June of 2022. After that we acquired HLA in January of 2023, Double A Trailers in February of 2023 and Diamond Mowers out of Sioux Falls South Dakota in March of 2023. We felt like there was a need for a short line equipment dealer in Langenburg since everyone was getting forced to deal with larger equipment dealers in bigger centres like Yorkton or Moosomin. A lot of these larger companies have a great deal of employees that don’t take the time to make sure you are satisfied with the product you have purchased, or don’t even take the time to remember your name”.
Curtis Remus grew up on a farm east of Langenburg and still currently farms with his dad Jason Remus and brother Kyle Remus on the farm that has been in the family for generations.
Remus added, “My wife Bethany grew up on a farm north of Churchbridge. We understand the values of having businesses in the community to service the needs of the people of the community”.
