On June 18, 2023, Esterhazy RCMP received a request to conduct a wellness check on an adult male at a rural residence in the northeast of their detachment area.
Officers attended the residence and located a deceased adult male inside the residence.
His death is being investigated as a homicide by Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes. Investigators are working to identify the male, with the assistance of the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
Investigators do not believe this suspicious death is connected with a February 2023 homicide in the Stockholm/Esterhazy area, and do not believe there is an increased risk to public safety. If one is identified, we will let the public know.
