Great news for cellphone users who happen to be northeast of Churchbridge or passing through that area.

SaskTel has been building a 106 meters tall macro cell tower on the Calder Grid, approximately 10 KMs south of Calder.

This tower will enhance cell coverage and is part of $324 million in capital Investment for 2020 in the province. The tower should cover approximately 15-20 KM of area to improve cell coverage at 4G LTE speeds.

SaskTel has realized there have been gaps in the cell coverage in a few rural areas and feel this is a vast improvement with the addition of this town as well as any other tower SaskTel is building.

Sasktel is pleased to continue “to enhance coverage and provide the best services and technology in Canada and across the world” a proud SaskTel Representative stated.
