William “Bill” Loewen has been located safe and sound.
Bill went missing between Saltcoats and Bredenbury this morning around 4:30 a.m.

Yorkton RCMP seeking public’s assistance to locate 86-year-old missing man

Yorkton RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance to help locate 86-year-old William Loewen – who goes by the name Bill.
Bill was last seen at a rural residence between Saltcoats and Bredenbury this morning around 4:30 a.m. He told the owners of the residence he was looking for where to purchase fuel and appeared disoriented. He left the area in his red, 2015 GMC Terrain traveling on Highway #16 towards Yorkton. He is from the Minnedosa/Brandon, Manitoba areas and not overly familiar with the area.
Bill is described as being 5’8” tall with grey/white hair, moustache and beard. Bill is diabetic. A very recent photograph of him is attached.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark ball cap, red and black fleece vest with a yellow shirt underneath. He also uses a cane.
We are asking residents in the Yorkton and surrounding communities to please report any information you have about Bill and/or his red, 2015 GMC Terrain..
