The Churchbridge Aquatic Center will be opening on June 12, 2021 and will have all their staff in place; including the manager, assistant manager and nine staff members.
Swimming lesson registration took place on May 27th in the community center at the main hall. The rockwall is installed thanks to Western Recreation and MC Mechanical will be installing the new boilers this month as well.
More good news is that public swimming, aquasize, lane swimming, special needs swims and preschool swims will be on the schedule this year for the pool (public health regulations permitting of course). The Churchbridge Aquatic Center encourages everybody to check out their Facebook page or the town website for updates, schedules and more about the 2021 swimming season.
Langenburg’s Pool Project is progressing along well. The project is aiming to be complete so the pool can open during the first week of July. A pool programming schedule was issued in the tax notices.
One of the big and new things the Langenburg Pool will be organizing this year is the ability to rent the facility for a birthday party. The facility will be accepting bookings soon.
The birthday party packages includes a two-hour private rental, a small party favour for 10 kids (additional fee for more children), a free gift for the special birthday guest and access to fun play equipment.
The cost is $200.00
For a glow party, after hours, the cost is $225.00 and includes glow sticks.
You are able to book online at https://shop-langenburg.square.site/book-us
Available booking days and times include:
Monday-Friday 9pm-11pm
Thursday-Friday 11 am-1 pm
Saturday-Sunday 10am-1pm , 8pm-10pm
Swimming lessons will be announced if they are choosing to host or not by mid-June; watch for more information.
We are now able to all get out and enjoy the aquatic activities in our local pools and wash away the winter and COVID blues.
