The Esterhazy Bowlarena is hosting a Thanksgiving Feast for the third year in a row. I spoke to Jen Zich about it.
She said, “We have been doing our Thanksgiving Feast for the last two years. I figured it was a great way for people to still enjoy the holiday and have a traditional meal through COVID-19. A person or a couple may be alone, but I hope this puts a smile on someone’s face!”
She said that anyone can sponsor a meal by getting a hold of her and can either suggest someone to donate the meal to or leave it up to them to pick someone in our community.
She continued by saying, “There are roughly five of us that work on preparing the meal and on Sunday there will be about 10-12 of us between delivery drivers and ladies in the kitchen.” The meal includes roast turkey, homestyle stuffing, perogies, sausage, mashed potatoes, buttered carrots, coleslaw, fresh dinner buns, cranberry sauce, gravy, and pumpkin pie for dessert. It costs $18 per plate for delivery and $20 per plate for delivery in town.
Please call to preorder your plates at 306-745-8476. There is no deadline for orders as there will be extra food made.
They are serving food on Sunday, October 10th from 11:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m., and payments can be made ahead of time by e-transfer. Please consider ordering a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast or donating one from the Esterhazy Bowlarena this year!
