Wendy Lynn Carter

Wendy Lynn Carter was born on November 22, 1952, in Langenburg to Norman and Wilma McKinnon. She was the fourth daughter and much-loved baby sister to Joyce, Dorothy, and Norma. They grew up in several small communities, including Langenburg, Yorkton, Tonkin, Esterhazy, and Spy Hill. Wendy went to elementary school in Langenburg and Gerald. She started high school in Esterhazy, but after moving to Spy Hill, she finished her schooling in Langenburg.

Wendy met David Carter and raised a loving family and later shared her life with Ashley Perrin, beautifully blending their families together. She deeply valued time spent with her children, grandchildren, relatives, and friends, especially at the cabin. She loved nothing more than having everyone together. Wendy was known for her kindness, calm nature, and supportive spirit. She touched many lives and created lasting memories for those around her.

She is lovingly remembered by Ashley; her children Jason (Tracey), Terri (Dave), Lisa (Brett), and Michelle (Trevor), and their father, David; and Ashley’s children, Christie (Shawn), Cory (Mark), and Guy (Nicole). Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Jenna, Emerson, Ashlyn, Shae, Avery, Connor, Baylee, and Phoenix. She is also survived by her sisters Dorothy (Richard), Norma (Don), and Joyce (Denis); Cammie and Dustin; along with her many loved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. She was always happy to visit and build memories. Wendy will be missed beyond words and will hold space in our hearts forever.
