The Langenburg F Fish and Game Club hosted its annual awards banquet on the evening of Saturday, April 11, drawing an enthusiastic crowd for a night of celebration, storytelling, and recognition. The well-attended event featured a supper, awards presentations, raffles, a balloon auction, and plenty of camaraderie among members and guests.

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of outstanding achievements from the past year, including two remarkable catches that ranked among the largest in the province. Emily Fatteicher was honoured at the provincial level in Moose Jaw for her junior division walleye measuring 31 inches and weighing 12 pounds, 5 ounces. In the adult division, Roger Geres earned provincial recognition for his impressive walleye measuring 32 1/8 inches and weighing 14 pounds, 5 ounces.

The banquet once again highlighted the strong participation and success of local anglers and hunters, showcasing both youth and experienced outdoors enthusiasts. Organizers noted the continued growth of the event and the impressive achievements of members throughout the year.
